Baseball Recap: Fort Campbell Takes a Loss

Fort Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-6 to the Hopkins County Central Storm. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Saturday.

Fort Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Hopkins County Central, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-18.

Looking ahead, Fort Campbell will face off against Ballard Memorial at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hopkins County Central, they will be playing at home against Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Storm's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raiders have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
