With a playoff win on the line, Victory Christian Center rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging an 83-40 victory over the Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles. The Kings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 20 points or more this season.

Carlos Marshall continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Panos Kalkavouras, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 19 points.

Victory Christian Center smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Cape Fear Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caden Scarborough, who went 5-for-11 en route to 11 points and five assists. Scarborough is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Lathan Wilborn was another key player, going 5-for-6 to rack up 10 points and five boards.

The win was the third in a row for Victory Christian Center, bringing their record for this year to 21-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points over those games. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 16-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Victory Christian Center will challenge Crossroads Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Crossroads Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season. Cape Fear Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
