Softball Recap: Disney II Takes a Loss

Disney II extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 1-5 in the process. They lost 28-14 to the Westinghouse Warriors. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 17-5 to the Warriors when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Westinghouse, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Westinghouse's part, Sarai James was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with five stolen bases, five runs, and four RBI. With that strong performance, James is now averaging an impressive 2.2 runs per game. Jocelyn Lewis was another key player, going 3-for-6 with four stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs.

Disney II has already played their next matchup, a 24-23 win against North Grand on the 16th. As for Westinghouse, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Phoenix Military on the 16th.
