Softball Recap: Edward Little's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Edward Little and Greely pushed the score to 12-9 the last time they played Greely, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Red Eddies fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 2-0. If the Red Eddies were looking for revenge after losing 12-9 to the Rangers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chloe LeBlanc was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits.

At the plate, Edward Little saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allison Michaud, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Edward Little fell to 3-1. As for Greely, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Edward Little will be playing at home against Cony at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Red Eddies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Greely, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lake Region at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
