Baseball Recap: Park Hill Beats Central for Their Fourth Straight Win

Park Hill waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Central Indians. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 9-8 loss the last time these two teams met.

Park Hill pushed their record up to 10-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Park Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe Oak Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central will challenge rival Park Hill South at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
