Volleyball Recap: Creekview Falls Despite Big Games from Maile Rowley and Conley Campbell + How To Watch

Creekview lost against Pope back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grizzlies fell 3-1 to the Greyhounds.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Pope scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 23-25, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Creekview had strong showings from Conley Campbell, who had eight digs and three aces, and Maile Rowley, who had 13 digs. Juli McDaniel also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Among those leading the charge was Grayson O'Daniel, who had 17 digs. Those 17 digs gave her a new career-high.

Creekview's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Pope, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Creekview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bob Jones on the 6th. As for Pope, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Norcross on the 6th.
