Soccer Recap: Rockdale County Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Rockdale County was not quite South Gwinnett's equal in the second half on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Comets. That's two games in a row now that Rockdale County have lost by exactly seven goals.

Rockdale County's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for South Gwinnett, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Rockdale County will look to defend their home pitch on the 15th against Shiloh at 5:30 p.m. Rockdale County will be up against Shiloh's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.27 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Gwinnett, they will head out to take on Central Gwinnett at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. South Gwinnett are facing Central Gwinnett at the right time seeing as Central Gwinnett are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
