Football Recap: Greenon Takes a Loss

After soaring to 34 points the game before, Greenon was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 17-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Liberty-Salem Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 22-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

Greenon now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West Liberty-Salem, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Greenon is set to square off against their familiar foe Southeastern Local at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Liberty-Salem will face off against rival Fairbanks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
