Baseball Recap: Booker T. Washington Comes Up Short

After flying high against Laurel Hill last Thursday, Booker T. Washington came back down to earth. The Wildcats lost 10-0 to the Navarre Raiders on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Navarre, they moved to 7-16 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Booker T. Washington will venture away from home to face off against Pine Forest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.83 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Navarre, they will challenge Pace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
