Yulee came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Glynn Academy Terrors, falling 8-2. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Yulee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Davis, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Yulee's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Glynn Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yulee will take on Westside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Glynn Academy, they will challenge Savannah Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
