Basketball Recap: W.S. Neal Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact W.S. Neal can now relate to. They took a blow against the Jackson Aggies on Monday, falling 79-35. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jackson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Joseph Taylor out in front who went 5 for 7 on his way to 11 points along with seven assists and seven boards. Taylor is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Roderick Hamilton Jr., who went 5 of 9 en route to 13 points and three steals.

W.S. Neal has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Jackson, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
