After flying high against South Bend Career Academy last Saturday, Plymouth came back down to earth. The Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies took a 70-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rochester Zebras on Tuesday. The Pilgrims/Rockies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Zebras apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Plymouth's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kadyn Ellery, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. Ellery is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Preston Wolfe, who went 6-for-13 en route to 17 points.

Drew Bowers was his usual excellent self, going 14-for-23 to rack up 32 points for Rochester. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Baugher, who posted ten points.

As for Rochester, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wabash at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rochester is facing Wabash at the right time seeing as Wabash is stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
