Baseball Game Preview: Palm Springs Indians vs. Troy Warriors

The Palm Springs Indians will head out to challenge the Troy Warriors at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Palm Springs' hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matches, but Wednesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Palm Springs came up short against La Quinta on Friday, falling 7-1.

Palm Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Ernesto Arroyo, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Troy never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They came out on top against Crossroads by a score of 4-0.

Troy's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Palm Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
