While Leipsic's win against Cory-Rawson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Fighting Hornets 8-6. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Fighting Hornets: they've now won three in a row.

Leipsic's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Cory-Rawson, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Leipsic will welcome Pandora-Gilboa at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cory-Rawson, they will challenge Arlington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
