Grosse Ile's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 30-0 win over the Milan Big Reds. The Red Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Michael Nappa, William Weise, and Cooper Mott, who each logged one passes deflected. Grosse Ile wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 53.8%.

Grosse Ile didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cappelino and Mott. Cappelino got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Grosse Ile's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Milan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Grosse Ile wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-10 win against Airport on the 3rd. As for Milan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-0 defeat against St. Mary Catholic Central on the 3rd.
