Football Game Preview: Chicopee vs. Wahconah Regional

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Wahconah Regional. On Friday they take on Chicopee at Szot Park at 7:00 PM. Wahconah Regional will be hoping to build upon the 39-0 win they picked up against Chicopee the last time they played.

Wahconah Regional took the contest and then some with a 43-0 win last Friday over Taconic. The success made it back-to-back wins for Wahconah Regional.

Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Chicopee, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 21-40 loss to Holyoke. This makes it the second loss in a row for Chicopee.

Wahconah Regional's victory lifted them to 2-0 while Chicopee's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Wahconah Regional's success rolls on or if Chicopee are able to steal their positive momentum.
