Basketball Recap: Chapel Hill Red Devils vs. Roosevelt Mustangs
Chapel Hill unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell to the Roosevelt Mustangs 66-62.
Roosevelt got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenson Anderson out in front who went 10 for 21 en route to 24 points plus two steals. Darius Washington was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 12 points plus six assists and three steals.
The win made it two in a row for Roosevelt and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
Chapel Hill will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sabine at 6:30 p.m. on December 3rd. As for Roosevelt, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-60 loss against Forney on the 22nd.
