With a playoff win on the line, Forest Hills rose to the challenge on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the West Shamokin Wolves. The result was nothing new for the Rangers, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Chase Williamson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
