Salisbury School entered their tilt with Berkshire School on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bears 14-2. Considering the Crimson Knights have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Matt Chirumbolo tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Michael Fiatarone, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Traylor, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Salisbury School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .522. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Salisbury School's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Berkshire School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
