Baseball Recap: Los Molinos Takes a Loss

Los Molinos easily dispatched Mt. Shasta on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Maxwell Panthers by a score of 4-2 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Los Molinos saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dakota DeMarco, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Los Molinos' defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Maxwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Los Molinos wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-3 loss against Durham on the 26th. As for Maxwell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-1 victory against Biggs on the 25th.
