It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oglesby can now relate to. They took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abbott Panthers on Friday. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Hunter Ewing was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Callen Webb, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Oglesby's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Abbott, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-10-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oglesby beat Abbott by a score of 7-6 on Saturday.
