University Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 15-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hazel Park Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 39-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Montrell Parker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hazel Park, rushing for 162 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Parker's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 130 rushing yards.

University Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Hazel Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
