Basketball Recap: Luxemburg-Casco Takes a Loss

If Luxemburg-Casco was riding high fresh off their 58-33 takedown of Mishicot on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans lost to the Oconto Falls Panthers on the road by a 54-38 margin on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-51 back in December of 2024.

Luxemburg-Casco has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Oconto Falls, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luxemburg-Casco will challenge Waupaca at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oconto Falls, they will take on Little Chute at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
