Volleyball Recap: Triopia/Virginia Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Triopia/Virginia entered their tilt with Calvary on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Saints. The Trojans were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Saints, so the Trojans were just returning the favor.

While Triopia/Virginia won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24.

Mylee Tracy paced Triopia/Virginia's offense, picking up nine kills. Tracy were helped by Lucie Dion and Ella Beard, who contributed 11 assists each. Dion also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jaden Stambaugh, each putting up three.

Triopia/Virginia's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Calvary, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Triopia/Virginia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Carrollton on the 7th. As for Calvary, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lutheran on the 7th.
