Softball Recap: Kenwood Comes Up Short

Kenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-2 to the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines. The Bluebirds were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Zoey Lam was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Kayla Hill was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Kenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Kenwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-1 victory against Patapsco on the 31st. Western Tech & Environmental Science has also already played their next contest (against Franklin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
