Central Dauphin is a perfect 6-0 against Altoona since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rams will head out to face off against the Mountain Lions at 4:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Central Dauphin has six straight wins, Altoona has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Central Dauphin's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over State College.

Meanwhile, Altoona came up short against Chambersburg on Thursday and fell 8-3.

Kaya Sprankle made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Natalie Baker was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Central Dauphin's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for Altoona, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.

Central Dauphin took their victory against Altoona in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
