Basketball Game Preview: Westwood Patriots vs. Marquette Redmen

Westwood hasn't had much luck against Marquette recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Westwood Patriots will be home for the holidays to greet the Marquette Redmen at 7:15 p.m.

Last Monday, Westwood came up short against Kingsford and fell 57-50. The loss was the Patriots' first of the season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Marquette against Negaunee on Tuesday as the team secured a 71-28 win.

The victory got Marquette back to even at 2-2. As for Westwood, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1.

Westwood came up short against Marquette in their previous meeting back in January, falling 70-60. Can Westwood avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
