Basketball Recap: Lisle Takes a Loss

Lisle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 54-33 to the Manteno Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-27 back in December of 2024.

Lisle's loss dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Manteno, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Lisle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-54 defeat against Wilmington on the 7th. As for Manteno, they have also already played their next game, a 41-33 victory against Streator on the 7th.
