Volleyball Game Preview: Herlong Vikings vs. Loyalton Grizzlies + How To Watch

Herlong is 1-9 against Loyalton since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Herlong came up short against Plumas Charter on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Loyalton didn't have quite enough to beat Westwood on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Loyalton actually scored more points across those five sets (97-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 13-25, 25-22, 6-15.

Herlong's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Loyalton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Herlong was able to grind out a solid victory over Loyalton in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
