Football Recap: Medford Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Medford had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 34-7 loss at the hands of the Everett Crimson Tide on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Crimson Tide are ranked 48th).

Coincidentally, Medford and Everett will both be playing Lynn Classical the next time they take the field. The Crimson Tide will host the Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
