Basketball Recap: Rye Neck Starts off Right with Win over Riverside

Rye Neck took care of business in their home opener on Saturday (and then some). They took their contest with ease, bagging a 59-29 victory over the Riverside Rams. With the Panthers ahead 30-10 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Riverside's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Rye Neck Panthers challenge the Croton-Harmon Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th. Riverside has already played their next game, a 78-34 loss against Roosevelt on the 9th.
