Laurel entered their tilt with Bowie on Friday with seven consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victor by a 68-44 margin over the Bowie Bulldogs. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Laurel had a senior duo take command as Amadou Kaloga went 7-for-11 to rack up 20 points and Jermaine Taylor went 8-for-18 en route to 19 points in addition to five boards and three steals. The game was Taylor's 12th in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Brown, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

Laurel pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Bowie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.
