Volleyball Recap: Galax Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Galax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Grayson County Blue Devils, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Abbie Barkley paced Galax's offense, picking up six kills. Barkley got some help from KK Barnes and her 16 assists. Finally, Beth Sizemore kept Galax's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Galax's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Grayson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Galax will challenge Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grayson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
