Football Recap: Nia Saechao Leads Hercules' Defense on Wednesday

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hercules). Everything went their way against the Pinole Valley Spartans on Wednesday as they made off with a 30-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Hercules didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nia Saechao, Karma Miller, and Natalie Miyamoto picked up one apiece. Miller is also crushing it when it comes to defended passes: she's defended at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

The victory got Hercules back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Hercules will venture away from home to challenge Arroyo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Pinole Valley, they will take on El Cerrito at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
