Football Recap: Nia Saechao's Menacing Defense Leads Hercules over Pinole Valley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hercules). They put the hurt on the Pinole Valley Spartans with a sharp 30-6 victory on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Hercules didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nia Saechao, Karma Miller, and Natalie Miyamoto picked up one apiece. Miller is also crushing it when it comes to defended passes: she's defended at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

The win got Hercules back to even at 2-2.

Hercules wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-6 loss against Arroyo on the 30th. As for Pinole Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 25-0 victory against El Cerrito on the 3rd.
