Football Recap: Westran Comes Up Short

After soaring to 36 points the game before, Westran was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They and the Fayette Falcons were almost perfectly matched up, but the Hornets suffered a 7-6 defeat. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Gage Adler threw for 63 yards on 11 of 20 attempts. Jordan Black was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards.

Westran's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Fayette, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Westran didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-22 loss against Gallatin/Tri-County on the 26th. As for Fayette, they have also already played their next game, a 29-14 win against Linn on the 26th.
