Volleyball Game Preview: Foothill Falcons vs. Amador Valley Dons + Official Tickets

The Foothill Falcons will challenge the Amador Valley Dons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Amador Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Foothill, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Foothill made easy work of Livermore and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Foothill was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10, 25-15.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Amador Valley and San Ramon Valley, and San Ramon Valley kept the tradition alive. The Dons lost 3-0 to the Wolves on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Dons have suffered since September 25th.

While Amador Valley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 27-25, 25-13.

Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Amador Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Everything went Foothill's way against Amador Valley in their previous meeting back in September, as Foothill made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
