Brady Vince gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Thursday. He made a splash, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Fremont back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Vince has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Vince and DeKalb will square off against Leo at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Vince had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in May of 2024 5-0.
