Baseball Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee fell victim to Sterling and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Rangers. The loss continues a trend for the Ganders in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost four in a row.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Sterling, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lee will challenge rival Port Neches-Groves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sterling is set to take on their familiar foe Port Arthur Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
