Football Recap: Stephens County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stephens County lost against Prince Avenue Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indians had to suffer through a 55-17 loss at the hands of the Wolverines.

Branson Stowe threw for 219 yards on 16 of 24 attempts. Duke Collins was his top target, picking up 141 receiving yards. On the ground, Dallas Hague rushed for 45 yards and two TDs.

Stephens County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, after each having a week off, Stephens County and Hebron Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Prince Avenue Christian, they will face off against Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. The Lions' defense has only allowed 8.4 points per game this season, so the Wolverines' offense will have their work cut out for them.
