Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wessington Springs). Everything went their way against the Highmore/Harrold Pirates on Saturday as the Wessington Springs Spartans made off with a 62-42 win. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Wessington Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Highmore/Harrold, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wessington Springs will head out to face off against Sunshine Bible Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wessington Springs has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Highmore/Harrold, they will face off against Stanley County at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
