Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Calvary Baptist Eagles.

Tyler Wilson was his usual excellent self, going 10 of 21 on his way to 28 points and six steals for Calvary Baptist. Wilson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Max Guisler was another key player, putting up 14 points in addition to five steals and three blocks.

St. Joseph Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Calvary Baptist, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

St. Joseph Catholic has already played their next contest (against Houston Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Calvary Baptist has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Allen Academy.
