Softball Recap: Eastern Find Success

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Eastern and Shawnee, and Eastern kept the tradition alive. The Vikings came out on top against the Renegades by a score of 6-2 on Saturday. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Renegades walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Eastern now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Shawnee, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern will take on Moorestown at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shawnee, they will host Triton at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Renegades surely won't give up without a fight.
