Basketball Recap: Princeton Bulldogs vs. Goldsboro Cougars
Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 61-32 loss at the hands of the Goldsboro Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-8 back in January.

Defeat or not, Princeton got some senior leadership from Meredith Bell and Aubrey Johnson. Bell went 5 of 9 to rack up 12 points, while Johnson posted six points and three steals. Johnson also set a new season-high mark in shooting accuracy with 60%.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Goldsboro to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amiyah Ford, who went 7 for 8 en route to 14 points along with eight boards and six steals. Those 14 points gave Ford a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aziyah Boyer, who went 7 of 9 on her way to 15 points and three steals.
Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Goldsboro, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Spring Creek the next time they take the court. Goldsboro will host Spring Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Princeton will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
