Basketball Recap: Florence-Carlton Piles Up the Points Against St. Ignatius

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Florence-Carlton). They blew past the St. Ignatius Bulldogs, posting a 73-41 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Florence-Carlton's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for St. Ignatius, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Florence-Carlton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lincoln County at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Ignatius, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Thompson Falls at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
