Basketball Recap: Mansfield Timberview Triumphs

If Cleburne wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Mansfield Timberview, they should've done a better job of containing Viola Tadja. The Mansfield Timberview Wolves strolled past the Cleburne Yellowjackets with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 45-31 thanks in part to Tadja, who posted eight points in addition to 15 boards and three steals. Those 15 boards gave her a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Dani Milliner, who put up 14 points and three steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.

Mansfield Timberview's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Cleburne, they dropped their record down to 15-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Mansfield Timberview will host Mansfield Summit at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cleburne, they will venture away from home to take on Everman at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
