Volleyball Recap: Del Rio Comes Up Short

After flying high against Carrizo Springs on Tuesday, Del Rio came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the Marion Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Del Rio dropped their record down to 6-6 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Marion, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 11-5.

Del Rio has already played their next match (against Johnson City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Marion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Comfort on the 29th.
