Rocket City had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the East Central HomeSchool Patriots as the Rocket City Rockets made off with a 13-4 win. Winning may never get old, but the Rockets sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row dating back to last season.

Hayden Bush and Walter Pruitt did most of the damage at the plate: Bush scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Pruitt scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Brooks Brady was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Rocket City will have a chance to go back-to-back against East Central HomeSchool: the pair will be back at it again later today.
