Basketball Recap: Keene Piles Up the Points Against Goffstown

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Keene). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Goffstown Grizzlies 85-57. Winning may never get old, but the Blackbirds sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Keene pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Goffstown, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keene will square off against Concord at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Keene is facing Concord at the right time seeing as Concord is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Goffstown, they will face off against Nashua North at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Nashua North's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
