Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Faith Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 32-22 to the Trinity Prep Lions.

Despite the defeat, Faith Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Bree Chamberlin posted 11 points. Sara Morgan Sapp was another key player, putting up six points.

Faith Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Trinity Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian Academy will host Providence Classical Christian at 5:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Trinity Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Academe of the Oaks at 5:00 p.m. Trinity Prep is facing Academe of the Oaks at the right time seeing as Academe of the Oaks is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
